photos from "the Nite before"

Hey, these are a few of the
pictures we have from "the Nite Before" concert that
we went to then night before Easter. It was free and
we had a good time. We'll be posting pics after we have
our Boomers night and work day this weekend for us
all to look at as well.

Damian won a shirt!!!!

Hey, glad to see that a couple of you have already checked out the site. Sorry I couldn't be there last night, I'm sure Nicole's message was good and I heard you guys liked the shirts? Well if you print out this post (select the text and then right click on it and choose print, and then print selection) and bring it with you to Sunday school this week we'll have a drawing for another free shirt. Hope to see a bunch of you Friday at 6:30 for the Boomer trip. If you didn't sign up but still want to come it is 12 bucks and we're meeting at the church at 6:30 and returning around 11:45. It is a trip with us and the High Schoolers and should be a lot of fun. Take care and God bless.

Saturday May 27

We are having a work day in the youth room. We will be meeting there and doing some cleaning, organinzing and such in our rooms and also raking the Volleyball court and getting it ready for our upcoming Tournament day on Saturday June 10th. Wear some clothes that you don't mind getting dirty. We'll have a great time and hope to see you there.

Wayne:
I grew up in the small town of Castle Rock, Washington. Raised in a Christian home and attended a private Christian school from 4th grade through graduation. I felt called to be a youth minister my 8th grade year and was involved in student leadership at my youth ministry from 9th grad on. I joined the Navy after high school and didn't pursue the Youth ministry thing much for the first couple years I was in the service. Shortly after I got stationed in San Diego I met Nicole at one of the churches down here. We decided that we would make Harvest our home church (she’d grown up at Harvest). I then went on a six month deployment and shortly after I returned Nicole and I were married. We started off helping in the children’s ministry for about a year and had a great time with that. Then Pastor Ralph talked to us about teaching the Jr. Highers. Nicole and I are blessed to be at Harvest and we love working with your kids.

Niki:
I grew up in Alaska for my childhood for about 10 years. Mostly I grew up in San Diego, I went to school up north for a year and I finally got my Bachelor’s Degree in 2004. Grew up in a Christian home and got saved when I was 7. I didn’t have a calling like Wayne and I guess God knew I would be doing something with him. :) I met Wayne when I went to another church for a year, Horizon, and he happened to be looking for a church too. I’m looking forward to ,in God’s timing, work in my field, Zoology but I chose to have a family first so we have Annabelle!
